The event features engaging talks and hands-on workshops providing 16-18-year-olds interested in a career in healthcare, with a practical insight into patient care from holistic to clinical practices.

Workshops included:

  • Intensive care

  • Maternity care

  • Dental care

  • Ambulance care

  • Physiotherapy

  • Eye care

  • Pharmacy

  • Medics

  • Mental and emotional wellbeing

Feedback from the students commented on how useful they found the day, and many enquired about work experience opportunities and future events.

Thoroughly enjoyed the day. Would love to have further work experience opportunities in the future.
